Alan Kulwicki's 1990 Zerex Thunderbird Intro This actually wasn't my work, but I did have a hand in some of it. It was what I call "the switch kit". I was helping my Dad build it right when I was getting into modeling, and right as he was getting out of it. First Thoughts Kit Quality It's hard to tell what the quality of this one was like since I don't want to handle it too much due to the fear of glue letting go. Since it was a Monogram "Plus" kit, it came with a driver figure and lots of pit tools. The Build Final Comments It's really too bad that my Dad doesn't play around with kits now and then. But I really enjoyed watching and helping him as he was building this one. It all started with this single kit which I proudly display with the rest of my collection. But still, every once in awhile, I'll catch him snooping around my case. Maybe he'll reconsider someday.
